DESCRIPTION:The workshop aims to bring together the linear and non-linear 
 spectroscopy communities with the rapidly advancing field of coherent imag
 ing. While second harmonic generation and two-photon excitation fluorescen
 ce microscopy at optical wavelengths are already established as powerful t
 ools for visualizing cellular and tissue structures\, as well as functiona
 lized surfaces\, non-linear imaging approaches at sub-100 nm wavelengths a
 re still in their infancy.\nThis workshop will open a dynamic forum to exp
 lore the scientific opportunities unlocked by non-linear effects in advanc
 ed imaging\, leveraging the unique coherence properties of free-electron l
 asers\, high-brilliance fourth generation synchrotrons\, and table-top las
 ers sources. The anticipated outcome of this meeting is to take concrete s
 teps toward fostering collaborations between experimental and theoretical 
 groups\, and to inspire the design of next-generation instrumentation for 
 probing intensity-dependent light–matter interactions.\nA key feature of
  the meeting will be the active involvement of early-career researchers. Y
 oung scientists will have the chance to engage directly with world leaders
  in the field\, exchange ideas\, and gain exposure to cutting-edge methodo
 logies and perspectives. \nNICE2026 is a workshop co-organized by COST A
 ction CA22148 - An international network for Non-linear Extreme Ultraviole
 t to hard X-ray techniques (NEXT) and Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste.\nAttend
