Participants will be limited to 100.
To apply, please submit the application form by June 15, 2021, and upload a short curriculum vitae.
Participants will be selected on the basis on their curriculum; priority will be given to PhD student and to young researcher, paying attention to gender balance.
The registration fee of 100 € includes: 1. active attendance to the lectures; 2. data analysis; 3. experimental sections; 3. virtual visit of the facilities. Accepted students will have the possibility to interact with lecturers and to perform data analysis by themselves; they will receive a pdf copy of the book “Synchrotron Radiation: Basics, Methods and Applications” (Springer - ISBN 978-3-642-55315-8). Details on the payment procedures will be provided in July 2021.
In case the number of acceptable applications will overcome the foreseen number of 100, auditors will be accepted; auditors will pay 20 € to attend to lectures in a passive way, i.e. without possibility to interact with lecturers.
Accepted students living in countries with different time zone will have access also to a recorded version of the lectures.
IUCr support:
We have applied for support from the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr). If granted, the registration fee for some students from developing countries will be reduced to 50 €.
