IMPORTANT: Deadline for Registration and Access Request to enter in Elettra is Tuesday 5th March 2024.
Step 1: Register on the Elettra Virtual Unified Office (VUO).
To do this, go to the VUO login page. Click on the "new user" link within the lost password / registration section. Complete the registration form. Skip this step if you are already a registered user of Elettra and FERMI.
Step 2: Enter the VUO and add a new access request (NOT FOR USERS).
Instructions: Log in on the VUO, find the "Access requests to the laboratory (NOT FOR USERS)" section and press the access requests link. Then, click on the [Add new access request] link. While filling in the form, it is extremely important that you select the category School attendee and then indicate as school HERCULES 2024, so that we can find your request and process it promptly.
Before you are allowed to submit your access request:
Do not forget to upload a pdf copy of all required documents, i.e. your ID or passport, fiscal code (for Italians only), etc. Only once all required information and docs are available, the VUO allows to submit your access request. The system immediately confirms that the request has been submitted. Then, your access request is evaluated asap and you will be notified of the result by email.
Step 3: Confirmation letter:
The system will automatically emit a Confirmation Letter after your access approval; there is no action required from you (i.e. no need to sign and print it).
