Description
The end-station of the XRF beamline of EST is an ultra-high vacuum chamber that hosts a seven-axis manipulator and different detectors. Thanks to this set-up and the features of the beamline, it is possible to perform standard and advanced variants of XRF technique experiments, including GI-XRF, XRR, TXRF and XAS. Some experiments carried out at the XRF beamline will be described, highlighting the advantages offered by the current set-up and its limitations, in view of the new µ-XRF beamline.
