Within the framework of the LEAPS-INNOV project we are developing a new liquid jet instrument to enable liquid phase studies at the FERMI facility. The instrument will be optimized to operate in a high vacuum environment and will allow to deliver ultrathin sheets of liquids samples. The instrument is conceived to be compact and portable among the different beamlines. A preliminary set-up has already been successfully tested and will be presented during the event.
In order to fully exploit the new capabilities enabled by the setup, we invite scientists from diverse backgrounds in liquid phase research to join us at the inaugural "Workshop on liquid systems: science and standards for delivery" and share their insights on research topics and potential directions that can be explored at FERMI.
Participation is possible on site and the event will be broadcasted via zoom (registration NOT necessary for zoom attendance):
