By Train:
Trieste is well-connected to the Italian and European rail network. The central railway station, Trieste Centrale, is located in the heart of the city, making it easy to reach your accommodations and the workshop venue.
By Car:
If you prefer to travel by car, Trieste is accessible mainly via A4 highway. If this is your preferred option, keep in mind that parking within the city center might be limited and mostly pay and display, so it's advisable to check with your accommodations for parking options.

If you decide to stay in Trieste city the public transport service is very reliable. The ICTP campus can be easily reached using the bus number 6 which runs trough the city centre. Many city buses have their terminal close to the railway station where you can change to bus number 6.
